- 1 C milk of choice
- 1 Serving vanilla protein powder of choice OR 1 C yogurt (I recommend whole milk) - 1 Banana (peel and freeze in advance)
- 1-2 Medjool dates, pitted
- 5 Baby carrots (finely diced)
- 1 Teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 Teaspoon nutmeg
- Grated ginger to your taste (I'd start with about 1 teaspoon and see how you like the taste)
- Combine all ingredients. As stated above feel free to add more ginger, or more of the other spices to create the carrot cake taste that you prefer. You can always add other carrot cake favorites as well, think nuts, coconut, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, etc.
