Cheeseburger Pasta


Ingredients:

1 Pound ground beef (veggie crumbles or browned tofu also an option)

1 Box pasta of choice

20oz Can of diced tomatoes (or puree dependent on texture preference)

1 Onion, diced

1/2 Cup shredded cheddar

2 T Garlic, diced

2 oz Crème Fraiche or Cream Cheese

Mustard, to taste

Ketchup, to taste

Relish or pickles, to taste


Directions:

  1. Boil water for pasta - cook according to instructions on box.

  2. In a separate sauce pan, add olive oil. Sautee onion and garlic. Add protein of choice.

  3. Add tomatoes first and then crème fraiche, stirring to create a creamy sauce. Once crème fraiche is mixed in add cheese and mix.

  4. Top with condiments of choice (mustard, ketchup, relish), just like you would a burger.
