Jen’s approach was different than anything I’ve ever experienced with other RDs or doctors. She treated me as a person with wants, needs, and a LIFE rather than focusing on a number on the scale.
Perhaps the most important thing she has helped me understand is that food isn’t something I should feel anxious or guilty about. Before I began working with Jen, I thought I just needed to exert more control and willpower. She’s helped me to understand how counterproductive that is, and to begin to work with my body’s own hunger cues to determine what to eat, and when.
I can’t recommend Jen’s services strongly enough. She’s helped me begin changing my relationship with food and head down a more positive path.
