In sessions with your non-diet dietitian, you will learn skills to navigate challenges around food & body image and how to break free from shame around food. In your nutrition counseling work, there is also unlearning food rules and diet culture that may have been internalized throughout your life.
Your dietitian will help support you in creating realistic goals that align with your food values to help you take care of yourself around food and body. RDN Jen Nutrition Counseling Services is a judgment-free, safe space that is accepting of all bodies, abilities, genders, races, ethnicities, and life circumstances.
We work with clients virtually and in-person who struggle with eating disorders, disordered eating recovery, and chronic dieting using an Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size approach which is weight inclusive, compassionate, and ethical care.
Our work with clients is therapeutic and long-term. We typically see clients 1x/week if stepping down from a higher level of care or starting outpatient treatment for an eating disorder for the first time. Your clinician will give recommendations around the frequency of meetings during your nutrition assessment.
